Shannon and Glenn got the inspiration to start a skin care line following a chat with some friends at Hollywood Hills. During the discussion, one of the actors confided in them that he really could not find the perfect products for his skin that could give him the instant glow for the camera.
Long flights and hours on set made his skin dull and he needed something that could make his skin smooth and shiny with an amazing glow that could last for a couple of days.
The goal was to make easy products that can make the skin of any person camera ready but results were never immediate; changes could been seen after weeks or months of constant use.
Shannon and Glenn used many of the celebrities they were friends with to test their products but they had not yet thought about selling or retailing the products and never really bothered about production expenses.
They did all these amidst an economic crisis, buying their home and expecting their first child. So they decided to take a risk by using $80 to purchase the products they needed.
All of their productions took place in a little factory which they owned and handed over to their friends. After a week, all of their friends came back commenting the products on how effective they really are and demanded for more so they could use and give out some.
The little samples they made were not branded but were requested by some high qualified entertainers executives and other prominent actors and that is how the news about their product travelled really fast.
The increasing demands pushed Shannon and Glenn to start selling their magic products to those who loved and wanted them at Hollywood studios including makeup artists. A year later, the whole of Hollywood was in love and needed their products.
A certain evening they got a call from the vice president of a popular luxury retail brand who asked to retail their products because of the amazing results they had after using the product and they were asked to produce a brand name and packaging because it will be sold with other renowned brands.
That is how the amazing brand started and after so much thinking, the name GLAMGLOW® was chosen because they needed something fun, glamorous and that could make the skin glow.
GlamGlow was later on acquired by Estee Lauder and has a partnership deal with Sephora to sell their products in their worldwide stores.
GlamGlow has a range of products ranging from moisturizers, facial masks to toners and creams that will help to make the skin glow.
Some of their best selling products include; Hydration Love Fest Set, Super Toners, Easy Glowing Cleanser Set, Youthmud, Gentlebubble and Instant Pore Clarifying Set.
